What This System Is —
and What It Isn't
Start with the number nobody selling you something wants to lead with.
Around 80% of people with patchy alopecia areata see some regrowth within the first year — and that figure is the spontaneous rate. It's what happens without any treatment at all.
We're not going to claim credit for that. If your patch recovers, it may well have recovered anyway, and there is no honest way for us to tell you otherwise.
What this system offers is support for the scalp environment during that window — cleansing, botanical scalp care, and internal nutritional support. That's it. That's the claim.
Here's what's genuinely encouraging, though: alopecia areata is almost always non-scarring. The follicles typically survive the immune attack. They go dormant, not dead.
What this isn't
A cure, or a replacement for medical evaluation. Alopecia areata is a genuine autoimmune condition. No topical or supplement product stops an autoimmune attack — that requires immunomodulating therapy, which is a conversation to have with a dermatologist. This is a plant-based option for people who want to support their scalp, whether alongside medical treatment or independently.
Where JAK Inhibitors
Fit — and Don't
The landscape has changed. Three JAK inhibitors are now FDA-approved for alopecia areata: baricitinib (Olumiant), ritlecitinib (Litfulo), and deuruxolitinib (Leqselvi).
They work. Baricitinib achieves meaningful hair regrowth in a significant proportion of severe cases. If you have extensive alopecia areata, that is a conversation worth having with a dermatologist — and we'd rather you have it than not.
They also carry an FDA boxed warning covering serious risks including serious infections, mortality, malignancy, major adverse cardiovascular events, and thrombosis. Not as theoretical possibilities — as documented post-marketing safety signals on the label itself.
For mild to moderate patchy alopecia areata — the majority of cases — many people want a non-pharmaceutical option. That's where a plant-based scalp system has a legitimate, modest role: supporting the scalp environment while your own biology does the work.
5 Components
3 Topical · 2 Internal
Alogenic Tonic
The active scalp tonic of the Dermotricology line. Seven botanicals — soy, ivy, watercress, white nettle, willow bark, arnica and rosemary — with panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), salicylic acid to clarify the follicle opening, plus sulfur, potassium iodide and eucalyptol. Applied across the whole scalp, not just the patch — the surrounding environment matters too. Sulfate-free and paraben-free.
Contains soy. If you're pregnant or have a hormone-sensitive condition, check with your physician first. Avoid if you have a soy allergy.
Ampoule DT
The most concentrated topical step, applied directly to the patches. Hydrolyzed keratin, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate with cinchona bark, burdock, rosemary, yarrow and coltsfoot, plus B-vitamins (Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine HCl) and a menthol finish. Where the Alogenic Tonic covers the whole scalp, this one is targeted. Don't rinse it out.
Hair Loss Wash
A clarifying wash that lifts oxidized sebum and buildup from the follicle opening — so what you apply next reaches the scalp instead of sitting on congestion. Built around hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed collagen, sodium hyaluronate and panthenol, with cinchona bark, arnica, yarrow and coltsfoot. Formulated at pH 5, so your acid mantle stays intact.
Kapydetox (formerly dePure)
Five traditional botanicals led by Green Nettle — the largest ingredient in every dose at 689.5 mg — with dandelion, boldo, fumitory and peppermint. Nettle is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. Two tablets in the morning, two in the afternoon.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or allergy to any component.

Shock Ecológico
Three of the most nutrient-dense greens in nature in one daily dose — organic Spirulina (505 mg), organic Chlorella (333.3 mg) and organic Moringa (166.65 mg). Spirulina and chlorella are algae valued for their protein, chlorophyll and antioxidant content; moringa is naturally rich in vitamins A, C and E. Two tablets daily with water, about half an hour before lunch.

Consistency Is the
Controllable Part
The course of alopecia areata is genuinely unpredictable — some patches recover in weeks, others take months, and the timeline isn't something you control. What you can control is showing up for it.
Phase 1 — Intensive
- Morning Ampoule DT to affected areas · 2 Kapydetox tablets
- Before lunch 2 Shock Ecológico tablets
- Afternoon 2 Kapydetox tablets
- Evening Ampoule DT to affected areas
- Daily Wash with Hair Loss Wash · Alogenic Tonic once across the full scalp
Phase 2 — Ongoing
- Daily Alogenic Tonic + Ampoule DT across the scalp
- Daily Continue washing with Hair Loss Wash
- Ongoing Continue Shock Ecológico to support daily nutrition
Built With These
People in Mind
- People with patchy alopecia areata — one or more round patches
- People who want a non-pharmaceutical option, either on its own or alongside medical treatment
- People who've had steroid injections or topical corticosteroids and want something to use alongside that care
- People who aren't candidates for JAK inhibitors, or have chosen not to use them, and want a plant-based option
This is not appropriate as a standalone approach for:
Alopecia totalis or universalis, where follicles may have been dormant for extended periods. Pediatric cases without physician guidance. Or any case where a physician has specifically advised against botanical or supplement approaches because of your current treatment. If any of those describe you, talk to a dermatologist first.
Before You Start
Will this grow my hair back?
We can't tell you that, and we won't. Around 80% of people with patchy alopecia areata see some regrowth within the first year — and that's the spontaneous rate, without any treatment. If your patch recovers while using this system, it may well have recovered anyway. What this system does is support the scalp environment during that window. Individual results vary, and nothing here is guaranteed.
Are there any side effects?
Yes — one you should expect. Both the Alogenic Tonic and Ampoule DT contain Methyl Nicotinate, which produces a warm flush and can cause temporary redness where applied. That's normal and passes within a few minutes. If it stings rather than warms, use less or stop. Both also contain fragrance. Don't apply either to broken skin. There are no steroids, immunosuppressants or pharmaceutical compounds in the system.
Can I use this alongside steroid injections or JAK inhibitors?
Ask your prescribing physician before you start — especially if you're on systemic immunosuppressive therapy. This is a plant-based cosmetic and supplement system with no pharmaceutical compounds, but you're managing an autoimmune condition and your doctor knows your medications and your history. That's a conversation to have first, not after.
Is everything plant-based?
The formulas are plant-based and EU-regulated, with one exception worth naming: Alogenic Tonic and Ampoule DT both contain Methyl Nicotinate, a synthetic ester — that's what produces the warm flush. Both also lead with denatured alcohol. We'd rather tell you than have you find it on an ingredient list.
Can I use this on eyebrows or beard patches?
The topicals can be applied to hair-bearing areas — but be careful near the eyes. Both the Alogenic Tonic and Ampoule DT say to avoid eye contact on their own labels, and both contain Methyl Nicotinate, which flushes the skin. For eyebrow patches, apply sparingly with a cotton tip and keep well clear of the eye itself. If you're unsure, ask your specialist or your dermatologist first.
How long is Phase 1?
Until the patch visibly recovers — and that timeline is genuinely individual. Some patches recover in weeks, others take months, and some don't respond. Alopecia areata is unpredictable by nature. Consistency of application is the part you control.
Should anyone avoid parts of this?
Kapydetox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or an allergy to any component. Alogenic Tonic contains soy — if you're pregnant or have a hormone-sensitive condition, check with your physician first. Don't apply the leave-on topicals to broken skin.
Every Ingredient,
Every Dose
Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose: Kapydetox 4 tablets daily, Shock Ecológico 2 tablets daily. Kapydetox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or allergy to any component. Alogenic Tonic contains soy — if you are pregnant or have a hormone-sensitive condition, consult your physician before use.
