Two Things a Cream
Can't Reach
Skin barrier function
Filaggrin gene variants and ceramide depletion in the stratum corneum are documented in the scientific literature to reduce the skin's ability to hold moisture and resist environmental irritants. Supporting the barrier — not just adding hydration on top of it — is the structural foundation of this protocol.
The internal nutritional environment
The scientific literature on chronic inflammatory skin conditions consistently identifies nutritional status, liver function, and systemic factors as relevant to skin health outcomes. Your skin doesn't exist in isolation from the rest of you. That's why this system includes internal nutritional support rather than pretending the surface is the whole story.
CeraVe, Aveeno, Vanicream — effective topical moisturizers with solid barrier-support evidence, and widely recommended by dermatologists for good reason. This system adds a botanical oil step, a barrier cream, and internal nutritional support on top of that foundation. It's a broader approach, not a replacement for what your dermatologist recommends.
If You've Been on
Steroid Creams a Long Time
Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) is a documented adverse reaction recognized by the National Eczema Association, the British Association of Dermatologists, and the UK's MHRA. New EU labeling regulations enacted in June 2025 require potency strength disclosure on all topical steroid products.
This system contains zero corticosteroids — there is no TSW risk associated with it.
6 Components
4 Topical · 2 Internal
Normalizing Base Cleanser
A pH-balanced clarifying cleanser that removes impurities, oxidized sebum and environmental residue without stripping. Built around gentle cleansing agents, hydrolyzed collagen, and lactic acid holding pH at the skin's natural 5.0 — so the acid mantle stays intact. Gentle enough for daily use. The foundation of the protocol.
Oil K1
A botanical oil blend — wheat germ, sunflower and rosehip oils with rosemary and fenugreek. Formulated for skin that feels dry, tight, sensitive or depleted, which is the most common presentation for reactive and atopic skin. Restores softness and suppleness while calming how the skin feels, and absorbs without a heavy greasy residue. No Methyl Nicotinate — no warming response.
Fungi Activ
A clarifying, refreshing tonic built around rosemary and fucus (bladderwrack seaweed), with PEG-6 Undecylenate, salicylic acid, urea, potassium iodide and a cooling menthol finish.
Special K Cream
The barrier cream. Hydrolyzed collagen for suppleness, squalane — a skin-identical lipid — for deep hydration without greasiness, and three concentrated oil unsaponifiables (olive, soy, avocado) delivering the phytosterol and tocopherol fractions of those plant oils. Witch hazel and bisabolol for immediate comfort. Seals in everything applied before it.
Kapydetox (formerly dePure)
Five traditional botanicals led by Green Nettle — the largest ingredient in every dose at 689.5 mg — with dandelion, boldo, fumitory and peppermint. Nettle is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. Two tablets in the morning, two later in the day.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or allergy to any component.

Revital
Two of nature's richest sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) — Evening Primrose Oil (500 mg, providing 50 mg GLA) and Borage Oil (500 mg, providing 100 mg GLA) — with natural Vitamin E. GLA is an essential omega-6 fatty acid your body cannot produce on its own, and your skin uses it as a building block for its natural barrier, softness and hydration. 150 mg GLA per daily dose. Natural Vitamin E (111% NRV) contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Built With These
People in Mind
- People with sensitive, reactive, chronically dry, or atopic skin looking for a comprehensive plant-based support approach
- People who have found surface-only moisturizers insufficient and want to add a botanical oil step and internal nutritional support
- People who prefer a plant-based, prescription-free approach to daily skin support
- People currently using conventional topical approaches who want a complementary plant-based protocol to use alongside their prescribed care — always in consultation with their physician
- Adults who have tried OTC barrier creams (CeraVe, Aveeno, Vanicream) and want a more complete routine on top of that foundation
This system is formulated for adults. For children under 12, consult a pediatric dermatologist before introducing any new supplement protocol.
Before You Start
Is this safe if I've been on steroid creams a long time?
This system contains no corticosteroids and carries no TSW risk of its own. But if you're on a prescription topical steroid, do not stop abruptly — any taper should be supervised by your physician. This system can be introduced as a complementary plant-based support protocol alongside physician-supervised care.
Can I use this alongside Dupixent or other biologics?
That's a question for your prescribing dermatologist — please ask them before adding anything, including the Kapydetox and Revital supplements, to your treatment plan. This is a plant-based cosmetic and supplement system with no pharmaceutical compounds, but your doctor knows your history and your medications.
How is this different from CeraVe or Aveeno?
CeraVe and Aveeno are effective topical barrier moisturizers — well-evidenced and widely recommended by dermatologists. This system adds a botanical oil step (Oil K1), a botanical barrier cream (Special K Cream), a clarifying tonic (Fungi Activ), and two internal supplements providing botanical support and GLA. It's a broader routine, not a replacement for your dermatologist's recommendations.
My skin reacts to everything. Is this suitable?
Read the ingredient lists carefully first. Special K Cream contains pollen extract and fragrance components including Limonene, Linalool, Citral and Camphor. Oil K1 contains fragrance and lemon peel oil. Fungi Activ contains Methyl Nicotinate and menthol, which produce a warm or tingling sensation. If you have known contact allergies, patch-test each product on a small area for several days before wider use — and if anything stings rather than soothes, stop.
How long until I notice a difference?
Individual results vary significantly. Skin response depends on condition severity, consistency of use, skin type, and individual factors. Take baseline photos before starting and track your own experience. If your skin worsens or doesn't respond as expected, consult a dermatologist.
Should anyone avoid the supplements?
Kapydetox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or an allergy to any component. Take Revital at 2 capsules daily with a meal — don't exceed that. Always tell your doctor what you're taking.
Can children use this?
It's formulated for adults. For children under 12, consult a pediatric dermatologist before introducing any new supplement protocol. For childhood eczema, a pediatric dermatologist should be your primary framework.
Every Ingredient
Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose: Kapydetox 4 tablets daily, Revital 2 capsules daily. Kapydetox is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with kidney, liver or heart conditions, or allergy to any component.
Eczema and atopic dermatitis are chronic medical conditions. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. This is a cosmetic and nutritional care system — it is not a drug and is not a substitute for medical care. Always work with a dermatologist on your treatment plan, and never stop or change a prescribed medication without speaking to them first. Individual results vary.
