This is not a cure. Seborrheic dermatitis is chronic and relapsing by nature. There is no permanent resolution at the cosmetic or supplement level, and anyone telling you otherwise isn't being straight with you.
And this is not an antifungal. Ketoconazole, selenium sulfide and zinc pyrithione are medicines. Our botanicals are not equivalent to them and we won't pretend they are. If a medicated shampoo is working for you, keep using it — and talk to your dermatologist before you change anything.

Changes the Picture
The most current research repositions this condition. Biomedicines (2025) now places immune dysregulation and skin barrier function as likely central to SD pathogenesis — with Malassezia playing a secondary, associated role.
That's a significant shift. It means current treatments achieve partial symptom control and are frequently followed by relapse — not because they don't work, but because they address one layer of a multi-layered condition.
And it's why a plant-based system has a legitimate role here that has nothing to do with being antifungal. The barrier and the internal environment are exactly where a cosmetic and nutritional approach can honestly contribute — and exactly what a medicated shampoo leaves untouched.
The scalp surface
Scale, buildup and excess sebum sit on the scalp and block everything applied after them. The Dandruff Base Cleanser and KS115 clear that surface — not as a treatment, but as the step that lets the rest reach the skin.
The skin barrier
A compromised stratum corneum is now understood as central rather than incidental. The K1 or K2 tonic and Special K Cream support the barrier with botanical lipids and squalane — helping the skin feel comfortable and hold moisture.
The internal environment
The immune picture in SD involves multiple inflammatory pathways, and no topical reaches any of them. That's a conversation for your dermatologist. Dandruff Base Cleanser
A purifying cleanser built with salicylic acid and PEG-6 Undecylenate, plus urea and botanical extracts of fucus (bladderwrack seaweed) and rosemary. Lifts away visible flakes and excess oil, clearing the follicle opening so the steps that follow can reach the scalp. Doesn't alter the acid mantle.
KS115 Tonic
A clarifying leave-on tonic — willow bark, birch bark and leaf, cade juniper wood oil, sulfur, salicylic acid and glycerin. Eight ingredients, each purposeful. It helps soften and lift thick surface buildup so what you apply after it reaches the scalp instead of sitting on the scale. No warming response — there's no Methyl Nicotinate in it.
Fungi Activ
A clarifying, refreshing tonic built around rosemary and fucus (bladderwrack seaweed), with PEG-6 Undecylenate, salicylic acid, urea, potassium iodide and a cooling menthol finish. Helps keep the scalp's oil-rich environment feeling clean and balanced.
K1 or K2 Tonic
A botanical oil blend — wheat germ, sunflower and rosehip oils with rosemary and fenugreek. K1 if your scalp and skin lean dry, tight or depleted. K2 if they lean oily or congested. Both restore softness and comfort and absorb without a heavy greasy residue. Neither contains Methyl Nicotinate, so neither produces a warming response.
Contains fragrance and lemon peel oil. Patch-test first if you're reactive.
Special K Cream
The barrier cream. Hydrolyzed collagen for suppleness, squalane — a skin-identical lipid — for deep hydration without greasiness, and three concentrated oil unsaponifiables (olive, soy, avocado) delivering the phytosterol and tocopherol fractions of those plant oils. Witch hazel and bisabolol for immediate comfort. Seals in everything applied before it.
Ampoule N
A concentrated purifying lotion built around burdock, arnica and rosemary — with salicylic acid for surface clarification, sulfur for scalp balance, potassium iodide, and a fresh eucalyptus note. Applied to a towel-dried scalp after washing. A light warming or tingling may be felt; that's normal.
Revital
The internal component no shampoo-based approach includes. Two of nature's richest sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) — Evening Primrose Oil (500 mg, providing 50 mg GLA) and Borage Oil (500 mg, providing 100 mg GLA) — with natural Vitamin E. GLA is an essential omega-6 fatty acid your body cannot produce on its own, and your skin uses it as a building block for its natural barrier. 150 mg GLA per daily dose. Natural Vitamin E (111% NRV) contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Before You Start
Is this an antifungal? Can it replace Nizoral?
No, and no. Ketoconazole, selenium sulfide and zinc pyrithione are medicines with a real antifungal mechanism. Nothing in this system is an antifungal, and we're not going to claim our botanicals do what those drugs do. If a medicated shampoo is working for you, keep using it. This system is designed for the layers those shampoos don't address — the scalp surface, the barrier, and internal nutrition. Talk to your dermatologist before changing anything.
Why 7 components when a shampoo has one?
Because the current research says SD isn't one thing. Biomedicines (2025) places barrier dysfunction and immune dysregulation as central, with Malassezia secondary. A medicated shampoo addresses the Malassezia layer well. This system addresses the surface and the barrier, and adds internal nutritional support. They're doing different jobs — which is why many people use both.

No. Seborrheic dermatitis is chronic and relapsing — there's no permanent resolution at the cosmetic or supplement level. Phase 2 exists to support the scalp environment on an ongoing basis, and many people stay on it indefinitely. If your condition worsens or doesn't respond as expected, see a dermatologist.
Can I use this on my face?
Talk to a specialist or your dermatologist first. Facial SD usually appears on the eyebrows and nasolabial folds — close to the eyes. Ampoule N, Fungi Activ and KS115 all say to avoid eye contact on their labels, and Fungi Activ contains Methyl Nicotinate, which flushes the skin. Special K Cream contains pollen extract and several fragrance components. Some components may be appropriate for facial use with proper guidance; that's a conversation to have before you start, not after.
Is everything plant-based?
The formulas are plant-based and EU-regulated, with exceptions worth naming honestly: Fungi Activ contains Methyl Nicotinate and Diethyl Phthalate, both synthetic. KS115, Ampoule N and Fungi Activ all lead with denatured alcohol. K1, K2 and Base Tonic are genuinely botanical. We'd rather tell you than have you find it on an ingredient list.
How long until I notice a difference?
Individual results vary significantly, depending on how heavy the buildup is, how long it's been there, and how consistent you are. You move to Phase 2 when your scalp tells you it's ready, not on a calendar.
Is it safe for long-term use?
It contains no corticosteroids and no pharmaceutical antifungals, and it's designed for the ongoing use a chronic condition requires. Note that several products contain salicylic acid, and the protocol layers them — if your scalp becomes irritated or over-dried, reduce frequency and speak to your specialist.
