Soy · arnica · watercress · white nettle · willow bark · rosemary
Base Tonic is the foundational leave-on lotion of Kapyderm's Dermotricology line — a six-botanical nutrient tonic that nourishes skin and scalp across multiple protocols. Light texture, fully absorbed, paraben-free.
"Base Tonic is in almost every protocol we run — it's the foundational nutrition step that prepares the scalp before the specialized tonics and ampoules go on. Six botanicals, light texture, completely absorbed."
Every Kapyderm protocol needs a botanical nutrition foundation — a leave-on tonic that delivers nourishment to the scalp and skin before the specialized steps that follow.
Base Tonic is the foundational leave-on lotion of Kapyderm's Dermotricology line — the base nutrient delivery step used across scalp, skin and hair protocols. Its six-botanical complex delivers concentrated botanical nourishment: Glycine Soja (soy seed extract) for phytonutrient content, Arnica montana for scalp comfort, Nasturtium officinale (watercress) for its iron and sulfur-rich nutritional profile, Lamium album (white nettle) for toning and soothing, Salix alba (willow bark) for its natural scalp-clarifying properties, and Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) for its well-documented role in scalp care. Light texture, fully absorbed — no residue on skin or scalp.
Base Tonic vs Alogenic Tonic — what's the difference
Both share the same six-botanical base. The Alogenic Tonic adds Methyl Nicotinate (microcirculation activation), Potassium Iodide, Sulfur and Eucalyptol — making it the more active, scalp-specific tonic with a warming response. Base Tonic is the gentler, broader-use version — without those additional actives — suited to skin and scalp applications where foundational botanical nourishment is the priority and microcirculation activation is not required.
