Concentrated nutrition and reconstruction for hair and scalp.
Keratin · sodium hyaluronate · B-vitamins · 5-botanical complex · Methyl Nicotinate
Kapyderm KD is the most nutrient-dense ampoule in the Dermotricology line. Hydrolyzed keratin for hair fiber support, sodium hyaluronate for scalp hydration, B-vitamins for follicle nutrition, a 5-botanical complex, and Methyl Nicotinate to drive the full active blend into the scalp tissue.
"KD is the nutrition ampoule — keratin, hyaluronic acid, B-vitamins, five botanicals, and Methyl Nicotinate to drive all of it in. When the hair fiber and scalp need concentrated support, this is what goes on."
Hair fiber compromise and scalp nutritional depletion rarely have a single cause — they need a concentrated multi-active response, not a single ingredient solution.
Kapyderm KD is the most nutrient-dense ampoule in the professional Dermotricology line — Técnicas Capilares Profesionales. Each single-dose ampoule delivers a concentrated leave-in blend of hydrolyzed keratin for structural hair fiber support, sodium hyaluronate for scalp hydration at the tissue level, Calcium Pantothenate (B5) and Pyridoxine HCl (B6) for follicle nutrition, and a five-botanical complex — cinchona bark, arnica, burdock, rosemary and yarrow (Achillea millefolium). Methyl Nicotinate drives the full active complex into the scalp tissue via microvascular activation — the warming response confirms this is happening.
Why KD is the nutrition ampoule
The other Kapyderm ampoules (N, KN) focus on purification and scalp clarification. KD adds a different layer: concentrated structural and nutritional support for the hair fiber and scalp tissue itself. Hydrolyzed keratin — the protein that makes up approximately 95% of the hair shaft — is delivered in concentrated form directly to the scalp. Sodium hyaluronate maintains the perifollicular hydration environment. B-vitamins support follicle metabolism. Cinchona bark supports microcirculation. And Methyl Nicotinate ensures all of it penetrates — not just sits on the surface.
Inside the formula
Hydrolyzed Keratin
The structural protein of the hair shaft — delivered in hydrolyzed form for direct scalp application. Supports hair fiber integrity and the structural resilience of weakened or damaged hair.
Sodium Hyaluronate
The sodium salt of hyaluronic acid — maintains scalp hydration at the tissue level, supporting the perifollicular environment that healthy follicle function depends on.
Calcium Pantothenate (B5) + Pyridoxine HCl (B6)
Two B-vitamins with documented roles in hair follicle metabolism — B5 (pantothenic acid) for fatty acid metabolism in the follicle; B6 for keratin protein synthesis. Delivered concentrated directly to the scalp.
Cinchona Succirubra Bark
Cinchona succirubra bark extract — traditionally used for scalp microcirculation support, contributing to the sustained blood flow to the follicle that the Methyl Nicotinate response initiates.
Arnica · Burdock · Rosemary · Yarrow
Arnica montana for scalp comfort, Arctium majus for congestion balance, Rosmarinus officinalis for scalp care, Achillea millefolium (yarrow) for toning — four botanicals with a long history of use in professional hair formulations.
Methyl Nicotinate
A niacin derivative that temporarily increases local scalp microcirculation — the warming/tingling response it produces confirms active penetration, driving the full KD active complex into the scalp tissue rather than leaving it on the surface.

What is Ampoule KD?
Kapyderm KD is a concentrated single-dose leave-in ampoule from the professional Dermotricology line. It delivers hydrolyzed keratin, sodium hyaluronate, B-vitamins (B5 and B6), a five-botanical complex (cinchona, arnica, burdock, rosemary, yarrow), and Methyl Nicotinate — a microcirculation activator that drives the full active blend into the scalp tissue. The concentrated hair fiber and scalp nutrition step in the Dermotricology protocol.
How is KD different from N and KN?
Ampoules N and KN are primarily purifying ampoules — built around a botanical complex with salicylic acid and sulfur for scalp clarification. KD adds a structural and nutritional layer: hydrolyzed keratin for hair fiber support, sodium hyaluronate for scalp hydration, and B-vitamins for follicle nutrition. KD is the nutrition and reconstruction ampoule; N and KN are the purifying ampoules.
What does the warming or tingling sensation mean?
The warming or tingling sensation comes from Methyl Nicotinate — a niacin derivative that temporarily dilates scalp microvessels, increasing local blood flow. This is a normal, expected, transient response that confirms the formula is penetrating the scalp and delivering its active complex into the tissue. It passes within a few minutes. It is not irritation.
How do I use it?
Open the ampoule and apply directly to the scalp, parting the hair in sections to reach the areas to focus on. Massage gently. Do not rinse. The warming response is normal. Discontinue if irritation persists beyond the expected response.
Can it be used at home or only in-center?
Both. Kapyderm KD is used by certified Technicians in-center and is available for home use between sessions. Full protocol guidance — attack, normalizing, and maintenance phases — is available through the Professionals Portal.
How many ampoules come in a box?
A box of 12 single-dose ampoules of 8 ml each — suited to both in-center and home use between sessions.
