Its formula is built on three nourishing plant oils — Triticum Vulgare (wheat germ) oil for its vitamin E and essential fatty acid content, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) seed oil as the light carrier base, and Rosa Moschata (rosehip) seed oil for its regenerative fatty acid profile — with Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) for scalp care, Trigonella Foenum-Graecum (fenugreek) seed extract for its traditional nourishing properties, and Citrus Limon (lemon) peel oil for the natural botanical scent. No Methyl Nicotinate — no warming response. Penetrates without leaving a greasy, heavy residue.
K1 vs K2 — which one is right for you
K1 and K2 are the two oil-based tonics in the Dermotricology line — one for each skin type. K1 is for normal to dry, sensitive, tight or depleted skin and scalp — its wheat germ, rosehip and sunflower oil base delivers deep nourishment to skin that needs hydration and comfort. K2 is for oily or sebaceous skin and scalp — its formula is calibrated to balance rather than add further richness. Wheat Germ Oil (Triticum Vulgare)
One of the richest natural sources of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids — nourishes and supports the skin barrier, contributing to the formula's softening and elasticity-restoring action on dry, depleted skin.
Rosehip Oil (Rosa Moschata)
Rosa moschata seed oil — a well-documented regenerative plant oil rich in essential fatty acids (linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid). Supports skin softness and suppleness, particularly on dry, sensitive or depleted skin.
Sunflower Oil (Helianthus Annuus)
Helianthus annuus seed oil — a light, easily-absorbed plant oil that forms the carrier base for the formula, delivering the wheat germ and rosehip actives while keeping the overall texture non-greasy and skin-comfortable.
