Special K Cream is the rich recovery moisturizer of Kapyderm's Dermotricology line — a nutrient-dense formula that pairs hydrolyzed collagen for suppleness and structure, squalane for deep lipid hydration, and three prized oil unsaponifiables — olive (Olea europaea), soy (Glycine soja) and avocado (Persea gratissima) — the biologically active fractions of these plant oils, concentrated. Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) and bisabolol deliver an immediate soothing feel. Mimosa Tenuiflora bark extract, hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), pollen extract, rosehip and sage round out the botanical complex. What makes the unsaponifiables different
Most moisturizers use plant oils for their emollient feel. Special K goes further — it includes the unsaponifiable fractions of olive, soy and avocado oils. These are the biologically active components — phytosterols, tocopherols, squalene — that don't turn into soap during processing and are retained in concentrated form.
